Last summer @ YMCA
Time to pack bag and escape to the nature – back to countryside. Our favourite summer cottage – YMCA @ Viheri, Jyväskylä. Although is a short weekend but is nice to be out, soaking as much Vitamin D as possible. Short yet fun. Funniest encounter with a wild rabbit in woods when we were driving to YMCA at midnight. After 1 min of playing catching with the rabbit as it just keeps jumping left and right on the road instead of running back to the forest, we finally get it out of our way on a junction. If not we will never reach our destination. Watch the event and LOL
Summer@Finland
This Summer was really summery… super hot and humid. Feels like back to Malaysia. Everyday almost 28-29 Celsius. And more acne is popping out to welcome the sun! Annoying. 1 more day till my summer holiday 2nd round!…yeah. But no plan to g abroad. Just being cheap staying in Finland. Spend a week in summer cottage at Jyväskylä.
I am loving my photography apps in my iPhone. With only €0.79, I downloaded this cool lomography effect photo apps – CrossProcess. It emulated the effect of analog film photography adding a classic touch to it. Another free app called MoreLomo enhanced my photos with very vivid and vibrant colors. Nice! But the only problem is when I preview the photos that I took with both CrossProcess and MoreLomo in iPhoto, it doesn’t show the photo preview thumbnail. But once import, is fine. Weird.
1st snowy day
Today marks the first day of whity snowy day in winter 2009. It was not super cold but nice breeze of cold air. Lovely <3 I love Finland because the air is fresh

So, this is my last summer holiday as I will be working next week
No more happy go lucky day… adventure for Angeline…sobb sobb…but hey, I will still be bumping around and take pictures and upload it to blog. Maybe not so often but still… something to share from Finland…muakssummer08
Still in summer! Summer in Finland is a mixture of rain and sun. However, the rain here is not as heavy as the one I had back in Malaysia. So far summer has been good. This time I can really enjoy the summer after getting the most hetic stuff done. Happy happy jolly 
still way to go but glad I have come so far…
I have accomplished a mission of swimming at this lake after sauna whee!! I can swim for a short distance. Thanks to Blue that have been couching me and pushing me harder I don’t hate you for being such a strict teacher No pain, no gain!
Camping Trip
Let the journey continues after ski trip It is camping trip now. After 6 hours of drive, finally came to JKL and continue journey in car again for 30 minutes only this time. Arriving at camping site, the place was so beautiful and pleasent for the eyes. The camping cabinet was surrounded by lakes- front and back. So close to nature. So peaceful. So calm. So cool… yeah is a bit cold although is spring. However good things have to come to an end. After a night spent over, is time to say bye bye to this lovely place. I have fun canoeing, sauna-ing and bbq-ing Thanks to Blue for bring me here.
Skiing Trip in Last Winter
Well, that was not me doing snowboard stun I was skiing with the family for 5 days. Yes… continuos of 5 days; and it was really enjoyable and fun. Thanks to my host parents I had my ski lesson for 2 hours and off i go being able to ski. This is my second time skiing It definitly feels good to be able to land safely down slope after a steep one… although i did stop several times on a more challenging slope. The snow was starting to melt as Mr. Sunny was so bright; so is not too painful to fall but COLDDDD….when the snow goes into ur shirt!!! several times Practice makes perfect as I manage to hold myself and dint fall for the last 2 days ski. Good Good from dummies to beginner…guess i dont need to loan a book called “Skiing for Dummies”
bye winter, hello spring
The dark cold month of winter had finally almost comes to an end. Remembering the 1st time I saw snow in Helsinki when i was in my finnish class, i was all excited and open the window of the classroom widely during the break time and put out my hand to feel the snow… sounded like a kid but that excitment i guess is something everyone needs… the feeling of being so real and alive…the reason for existence… the feeling that slowly disapear in the shadow of adulthood.
It was mentioned that this was the warmest winter in Finland for the past 19 years… guess the global warming is in charge now… well is good for me in a way, as im really anti-cold… *shivers* guess this was my lucky year

i guess i will miss the ice hole fishing thingy… although i totally dislike fishing
